Lezignan 9’s 2009
Probably the best 9’s festival in europe is back on this year after a one year break.Lezignan is a 100% league mad town nestled between Carcassonne and Narbonne both past powerhouses of the french game but it is now the men from the corbieres region who are the top dogs as the current french champions.The festival is on Sat ,5th of september and we would anticipate flying out from stansted on friday , play on saturday and return home on sunday.
In 07 the club led by The Shearmanator were beaten in the plate final by Pole Espoir who are the best yourng league players in france but on the way beat the strong challenge of the Serbia national team.The club have made many friends in this part of france and we are the only british team to take part in the event.Please contact to register your interest and lets kick the clubs’ 30th anniversary off in style!
