Becoming a Player
CUARLFC is a warm, tight-knit and friendly club. Players have an opportunity to play in the BUSA league primarily during Michaelmas term, with the second term fixture list accomodating a number of semi-professional teams and Super League Academy sides.
The first wednesday of March is date etched in the minds of all CUARLFC as it represents the annual Varsity match against Oxford University.
If you are new to the sport of Rugby League, you are encouraged to join the squad in training sessions as soon as possible in Michaelmas term to learn the core skills of our sport. Training takes place EVERY SATURDAY at 10am at Trinity Old Fields.
There is also the Cuppers 9’s Tournament on 18th October 2008 aiming to show people the basics of rugby league. Food and refreshment provided, £5 entry including T-shirts, medals and trophies for the winners.
